Spunlace non-woven fabric processing technology

Breakthrough progress in spunlace processing technology, PGI's Miratec Spunlaced Nonwovens and Freudonberg's Evolon Spunlaced Nonwovens are new generation of spunlace products capable of replacing textiles and knitwear. The broad market prospects and development directions of the Law made the best comments, opening up a new market with great potential for Spunlace technology.

Miratec fabric
PGI's Miratec fabrics are the most innovative development of spunlace nonwovens, both conceptually and in terms of performance. Time will tell people whether Miratec fabrics can create a broad market for the durable textiles they target, and the price may be a major factor to consider. The limited samples displayed by PGI Company are different from any current non-woven industrial products. In fact, the term non-woven fabric has not been used to describe this product. The product has been innovative in the way of web forming and finishing. Prior to PGI's Chicobit Company, J&J Corporation studied and applied for a patent in 1996, namely "Processing Fabric Supporting Devices with a Divergent Laser Drilling Process". There is reason to believe that it is this technology that makes the shape of the Miratec products almost replicate the texture organization of most three-dimensional textiles. This patent tells people to move the laser beam at a certain fixed point of the forming drum according to a preset scan image, and the laser beam can sculpt the pattern on the forming drum, with multiple peaks, valleys, holes, and the like.

After hydroentangling, the pattern on the forming drum is transferred to the spunlace nonwoven fabric, making the spunlace nonwoven fabric exhibit a textile style. Miratec products not only have this advantage, but also have high strength in vertical and horizontal directions, and the products can also have real elasticity. Obviously, finishing plays a key role. PGI claims that the new technology is Apex technology. Mirarec fabrics are aimed at the durable textile market, while the disposable polyester nonwovens produced by Apex Technology are called Miralace (hot rolling process) and can also exhibit various patterns. PGI started producing Miratec Spunlace Nonwovens at the end of 1998. In 2000, the company launched the Miratec production line on both sides. PGI and its customer Johnson Controls Co., Ltd. have established a partnership to make Miratec spunlace non-woven fabrics that are used primarily for furniture and home furnishings to expand into automotive interior trim panels.
